Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn said:

possible to constrict it within each person.”
In other words if we can absorb injustice…if we can stop the
ever circling spiral of bitterness, hatred, and scorn…if we can forgive from
the knowledge of our own forgiveness… “Forgive us our trespasses Lord, as we
forgive those who trespass against us…”
There is a channel of God’s grace running through us branching out to
everyone around.’’
