I read this prayer by author John Baillie, and I can hear God issue a challenge back to us:

“Be with the weak to make them strong and the strong to make them gentle.  Cheer the lonely with your company and the distracted with your solitude.”

I have humbly felt the strength and the gentleness of God as well as the companionship and the solitude, but to be a part of that in somebody else’s  life is an honor straight from heaven.
