The week continues to be bittersweet. There is joy and peace and there is illness and death. It’s no wonder that Jesus spent so much time teaching us about love.
When people face uncertain futures, petty arguments seem so insignificant.
When people face harsh realities that distract them from their future plans, their heart pain seems more worthy of our time than our own opinions or dogmas.
When the sentence of people’s lives are punctuated with fear, sickness, and distress, those people are more worthy of our time than the distractions of Satan that tempt us to turn toward judgment and prejudice.
What comes to my mind is beauty.
Is our life beautiful? Are our words beautiful? Are our actions beautiful? Are our thoughts beautiful?
If those things are beautiful, all people will experience God’s love…
