April 21 and 22, 2014
Last week, Holy Week, was such a special time this year – more so than I can recall. But it was also more mentally draining for a number of reasons. Can you spell e-x-h-a-u-s-t-e-d?
So I did something I rarely do. I took Monday off to regain my mind.
It all began with Easter afternoon traveling to the farm to rest until Tuesday morning when we find out whether we will have another granddaughter or another grandson. Monday is the ultrasound appointment but they won’t tell until Tuesday.
Anyway, this afternoon I went out to take a few pictures and leisurely stroll around our property. The pictures below are the results from that walk.
I had to stop and cut the asparagus…
I Patiently watched these guys and gals going in and out of the house taking care of the little ones. I am always amazed at how those tiny feathers do their job.
Hopefully I’ll get some shots of the wren that is sitting on eggs. She is a little more wary than the blue birds.
