I read this somewhere the other day on a blog I was browsing:

“Pessimists are usually right, and optimists are usually wrong but all the great changes have been accomplished by optimists.”

I consider myself an optimist so I believe that to be true.  And while we are continually attacked by pessimists, it is those few moments where our optimism wins the day that keep us optimists.

Optimism creates passion, and passion breeds optimism, it’s a circular sort of thing.  To be an optimist is to see the good, take the chances, step out of the circle, and embrace inevitable change.  Do those things with passion and sooner or later great thing will happen.
