Interruptions are so common that when we plan ministry we should figure in time and effort for interruptions, because in reality interruptions are often a big part of mission.

If we skip over the one who needs attention on the way to something bigger – Jesus’ story of the Good Samaritan comes to mind (Luke 10:25-37) – we missed an opportunity that may well have been put in front of us… because sometimes the interruption is preparation for something bigger, and sometimes the interruption Is the something bigger…
