I was thinking this morning about how our own experiences in life reflect back to the miracles of the Gospel.  I mean, once we’ve experienced God’s leading, or protection, or healing or otherwise felt the presence of Jesus…things like the calming of a storm, quieting the wind and the waves don’t seem so far out there.

Spend some time today thinking about how and where we’ve experienced Jesus, and how or if those things make Jesus’ miracles seem more believable.

If we believe that Jesus actually did calm a storm, how does that affect our views of Jesus?

I have been reminded over and over in life about Jesus telling Mary, “Your brother will live again…do you believe this?”

That question lingers often in the back of my mind at the times of life that are very uncomfortable.  When I doubt, the uncomfortable-ness lingers.  When I answer, “Yes,” things begin to settle down.

Just some observations.
